Italian film streaming

Looking to increase my input of Italian strada the TV.

I watch attivita whenever I can with Italian commentary but now I’m looking for some Italian movies (old or new) that might be great to follow.

Anyone got any recommendations of some of the best Italian movies on Netflix, Prime, Disney etc?

I just watched the Christmas Special of LOL on Prime which was great fun. Time to tuck into a movie though.

oh, LOL also exists in Italian? I thought that was typical German TV, haha. I love it. But even in my mother language I have to listen carefully to get all the jokes, they also use a lot of dialects and you need quite a lot of background knowledge…

It actually started in Japan years ago and became a worldwide craze.

The UK is finally jumping on the bandwagon this year, but I must admit I loved the Irish one.

Comedy in non-native languages is hard. I enjoyed the Italian version but I found the obvious/physical comedy much easier to understand than the more complex innuendos/rhymes etc.

These ones are all very valid!!

I also suggest to watch “Boris”, it’s an Italian comedy series about the chaotic and funny behind-the-scenes life of a low-budget TV show. I always die of laughter when I watch it!!

This is a nice choice for me. I like easy-going, light hearted stuff!
